Bank Account Opening
Business accounts for internationally structured companies
You have the entity and the tax identification number, and still no account. The institution wants a director present in person. Or a domestic address. Or it declines without explanation, and the next one declines faster.
Remote onboarding for a company owned by non residents is genuinely harder than it was five years ago. It is not closed. It requires knowing, before you apply, which institutions currently accept a profile like yours and what they need to see.
The Three Routes
Each suits a different operating reality, and the right one depends on where your money comes from and where it needs to go.
1.
US business accounts
For companies that need a domestic banking relationship, US based settlement, and a counterparty that American clients and platforms recognise. The strongest position, and the one with the most demanding onboarding.
2.
Fintech and neobank accounts
Where speed matters more than branch access. Faster onboarding, lower minimums, multi currency built in. The right answer for many early stage and cross border operations, with the tradeoff that these relationships can be less durable under scrutiny than a traditional bank.
3.
International accounts
For clients who need currency diversification, or banking outside the jurisdiction they operate in, or simply a second relationship so that a single account freeze is not an existential event. Most clients end up with two of these rather than one. Redundancy in banking is not paranoia. It is operational competence.
Why We Assess Before You Apply
What Compliance Desks Examine
Applying widely and hoping is the most damaging thing an international founder can do. Each decline narrows the field for the next attempt. Some institutions impose a waiting period before reapplication. A file that has been rejected twice is a materially harder file than one that has never been submitted. The assessment exists so that you apply once, to an institution currently onboarding profiles like yours.
What the desk decides on is rarely the business itself. It is how that business reads against an internal acceptance policy written long before your file arrived. Institutions differ considerably in those policies, and some assess an applicant individually where others apply a category rule and move on. Knowing which is which is most of this work.
What We Prepare
We assemble the application, the supporting documentation, and the business description, then submit it to the institution best matched to your file. Where a profile is genuinely difficult to place, that matching is the engagement.
We do not promise approval, we do not offer anonymity, and we do not open accounts for activity that is unlawful in the jurisdiction of the institution. Those are less our limits than the conditions under which durable banking is possible at all.
