Pathway Assessment

Legal Coordination
Every application is filed through a licensed Panamanian immigration attorney from our vetted partner network. Clients are introduced to their attorney before arrival and briefed on every step.
Government Appointments
Every government appointment, medical exam, and submission is scheduled, confirmed, and accompanied. Clients never navigate a Panamanian government office alone.
Document Preparation
Every document required for the application, including apostilles, certified translations, criminal background checks, and medical certificates, is prepared, reviewed, and filed correctly the first time.
Banking Coordination
Bank account opening is coordinated in parallel with the residency application. Our banking partners are briefed before the client arrives, dramatically improving approval odds for non-residents.
Ongoing Compliance
After approval, Annual compliance filings, registered agent services, and residency renewal coordination are all managed through one ongoing relationship.
THE PROCESS TIMELINE
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need to live in Panama full time to maintain my residency?
No. Both the Friendly Nations Visa and the Qualified Investor Visa require only one entry into Panama every two years to maintain residency status. There is no minimum annual stay requirement tied to the residency card itself.
Does having Panama residency mean I stop paying taxes in my home country?
Not automatically. Obtaining a residency card and establishing tax residency are two separate processes. Tax residency typically requires spending 183 or more days per year in Panama or establishing Panama as your demonstrable center of vital interests, combined with formally exiting the tax net of your previous country. Advisory No.9° coordinates tax structure consulting through our partner accounting firm as part of the process.
How long does the process take from start to approved residency card?
From the moment document preparation begins, most clients have their provisional residency card within four to six months. QIV clients can receive permanent residency in as little as two to three months from filing a complete application.
Can my family be included in my application?
Yes. Spouse, dependent children under 25, and dependent parents can all be included in a single application and receive residency simultaneously.
What happens if my application is rejected?
Properly filed applications with complete documentation have a 99% approval rate on investor visa programs. Advisory No.9° ensures every application is complete and correct before filing, eliminating the most common causes of rejection.
Do I need to speak Spanish?
No. Advisory No.9° provides full bilingual support throughout the entire process. Every appointment is accompanied by a bilingual assistant and all documents are handled by our legal team.
Ready to Begin?
Every engagement starts with a private consultation. We assess your profile, confirm the right pathway, walk you through the complete process, and provide a clear proposal with no surprises. No obligation. No generic pitch.
