Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, share and protect personal data when you use this website or contact us, and the rights you have over your information.

Who we are

Advisory N9 is a private advisory firm in Panama City. For the purposes of this policy, Advisory N9 is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at info@advisorynumber9.com or at Rivage Tower, Suite 49A, Avenida Balboa, Panama City.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you book a consultation, send a message through the contact form, write to us or speak with us, we receive what you provide: your name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, the subject of your enquiry and anything you choose to tell us about your situation. During an engagement we receive the documents and information that engagement requires, under a separate written agreement.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our hosting provider records technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and the time of your visit, in server logs used for security and to keep the site running. With your consent, analytics and advertising cookies record how you use the site and which campaign brought you here. Without it, they do not load.

How we use it

  • To answer your enquiry and arrange the consultation you asked for.
  • To carry out an engagement you have agreed to, including briefing the licensed professionals that engagement requires.
  • To keep the site secure and working, and to understand how it is used so we can improve it.
  • To meet legal obligations, including record keeping and anti money laundering requirements that apply to the professionals we coordinate.
  • To send you information about our services where you have asked for it. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:

  • The professionals your engagement requires. Licensed attorneys, accountants, banks, payment institutions and other service providers, each bound by its own professional and legal duties of confidentiality, and only to the extent your matter needs.
  • Service providers that run our tools. Our website host, our customer relationship and booking software, our email provider and, with your consent, analytics and advertising tools. Each processes data on our instructions and under contract.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

Some of these providers are located outside Panama. Where data leaves the country we rely on the provider's contractual safeguards and, where applicable, recognised transfer mechanisms.

Cookies

This site uses essential cookies to remember your language preference and your cookie choice. These do not need consent. Analytics and advertising cookies are set only after you accept them in the banner, and you can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for as long as is needed to answer them and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. Engagement records are kept for the period the applicable law and professional rules require. Server logs are kept for a short, fixed period for security purposes.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its processing, to receive it in a portable format and to withdraw consent you have given. To exercise any of these rights, write to info@advisorynumber9.com. We respond within the period the applicable law allows and may ask you to confirm your identity first. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country or in Panama.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and we expect the same of the providers and professionals we work with. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, except as part of a family application made by a parent or guardian.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version, and material changes are announced on this page.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama, including Law 81 of 2019 on the protection of personal data, without prejudice to any rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
